On offer, we have an original drawing by Bulgarian born artist Atanas Katchamakoff (1898-1988). This sci-fi space age vehicle is titled and signed by the artist on the lower right "Auto-Maton Pat. 3589464 Inventor - A. Katchamakoff". It is, I believe, in pencil with perhaps a few ink highlights. This is drawn on artist's board measuring 15 3/4" X 18". Katchamakoff was most known for his sculptures and illustrations for "Dobry" a children's book published in 1934. We do not know the age of this drawing; but, we do see that he had a sense of humor. 
   I am not an expert on art, but believe this is in very good condition. The drawing is clear and clean. There are 2 tiny holes in the center where I believe a compass was used to draw the circle outlines of the vehicle. The board is toned on the edges with water marks along the bottom. The left side has scratches. Please view my photographs for more description.
   This is from the estate of my friend who collects everything. He purchased this in Los Angeles decades ago and does not know it's history.
