- These BUNA-n Screen Gaskets feature a screen filter made from 316 Stainless Steel bonded to the gasket for a convenient, all-in-one filtering solution. Use screen gaskets to up your filtration game and create a more encompassing system. Buna is made from food grade, 3A approved materials that offer good compression at a limited temperature range. The buna elastomer can stand up to constant contact to water and steam. The sanitary gasket is commonly used in the assembly of frontline vacuum plumbing and process systems. Recommended for temperature use between -30°F to 200°F. The screen is rated for 300 µm (micron) or 50 mesh, and has a 20 mesh backer for support.
