Philadelphia is the story of an attorney in a highly respected law firm discovers he has AIDS. This 1993 winner of 2 Academy Awards: Best Actor-Tom Hanks and Best Original Song-"Streets of Philadelphia" by Bruce Springsteen, shows one man's journey experiencing secretly cloaked discrimination because of his disease. He needs a lawyer to represent him, interviews several, and getting Denzel Washington to reluctantly represent him. This All-star cast includes Jason Robards, Mary Steenburgen, Antonio Banderas and more. With the support of family and friends, the case is won in favor of Tom Hanks. 

This story is so close to real life experience of many during the beginning of the AIDS epidemic.
