Giacomo Agostini - MV Agusta 1965

Isle of Man TT 1965 Junior TT 350cc

Limited Edition Print

Along with Mike Hailwood, Giacomo Agostini is considered one of the all time greatest motorcycle champions. Nicknamed Ago, he was fast, riding the 350 and 500cc MV Agustas which were the best racing bikes of the sixties. Agostini was a real crowd pleaser with movie star looks and enormous charm, especially with the ladies.  This print illustrates the effect he had on young ladies! Here he on the 1965 TT starting grid.  Agostini would finish third in the 350cc race that was won by Phil Read. What would have happened if Giacomo hadn't been distracted by a young beauty?

By Benjamin Freudenthal, noted French automotive and aviation artist.  Limited Edition print, signed and numbered by the artist.  The signature of Agostini is visible in the body of the print (He signed the original painting, the print is not signed directly).

One of an edition of 100, printed in France on 200g paper.  Size is about 20" x 20", (50 cm x 50 cm).
