Superb, very rare, antique 1866 handcolored map, titled Map of the New England or Eastern States. I see Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut and Rhode Island. The superb handcoloring is period to the map. This is from the extremely rare 1866 Clarke's Geography. There is text on reverse of the page, but you cant see it looking at the map as the paper is too thick. The map has a stain at left hand side The size of the map is 10.5" by 13". Rare map.
