You are bidding on ONE 1895 Plate from the " Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies" which was produced by The U. S. Government Printing Office from 1891 to 1895. The total Atlas has 175 plates in 35 fascicles. Many libraries, universities, historians, etc. purchased these fascicles as they were produced. They were then bound into Atlases. I know of Atlases which eventually had two volumes and some had three volumes. That was up to the person who had them bound. YOU ARE BIDDING ON ONE PLATE ONLY.
This plate is: PLATE LXXIV (74) DINWIDDIE C. H. CENTRAL VIRGINIA, PLUS
These are lithographs produced by Julius Bien & Co., New York.
