Product FAQ
Q: How is wire secured to this terminal?
A: Unscrew the allen screw from the terminal; strip the jacket off of the cable; insert the bare wire into the terminal; tighten the set screw into the terminal, compressing the bare strands of the cable.
Q: Is there a difference between this and a 1/0 gauge reducer?
A: 0 gauge and 1/0 gauge are the same thing. 1/0 (one aught) literally means one 0 gauge and written as 1/0. The next step larger would be double aught (2/0). The next smaller in the American Wire Gauge chart would then be 1 gauge.
Q: How do I apply the heat shrink?
A: It is best to use a heat gun, these are high temperature blow dryers really. KnuKonceptz heat shrink contains an adhesive lining and benefits from a high temp source like a heat gun.
