SBL Acid Sulphuricum

Causes & Symptoms for SBL Acid Sulphuricum

• Sulphuricum Acidum has marked action on mouth ulcers. Aphthous ulcers in the mouth with offensive breath. Gums bleed easily. It is a remedy for pyorrhea. 
• Sulphuricum Acidum is also a chief remedy for many gastro-intestinal disorders. There are sour erructations with heartburn. 
• There is craving for alcohol and aversion to the smell of coffee, Sour vomiting, Desires fresh food. There is a sensation of relaxed feeling in stomach. 
• Coldness of stomach relieved by applied heat. 
• Sulphuricum Acidum is useful in debility with a weak feeling in abdomen, with dragging into the hips and small of back. 
• There is a sensation as if hernia would protrude, especially on the left side.
• Sulphuricum Acidum also helps in headache with right sided neuralgia. Sensation as if brain was loose in forehead and falling from side to side. 
• There is compressive pain in the occiput, relieved by holding the hands near the head. Pain in right temple as if plug were pressed in.
• Sulphuricum Acidum is also useful in skin complaints due to bad effects of mechanical injuries, with bruises and livid skin. 
• It also helps in haemorrhages from all the outlets of the body. Blood is dark in color. 
• Chilblains with gangrenous tendency is relieved by Sulphuricum Acidum. 
• Sulphuricum Acidum also helps in carbuncles and boils.

Mind

• Mental excitability, Irritability, nervous fatigue, and tendency to take fright, Peevish moroseness, and dislike to conversation is marked.
• Dullness of intellect, absence of mind is present.

Head

• Vertigo when seated, disappearing in the open air indicates Sulphuricum Acidum.
• Headache, which at first increases, then suddenly disappears is relieved by it.
• Itching and eruption in scalp is relieved by Sulphuricum Acidum.
• It is helpful in complaint of premature greying of hair, hairfall.

Ears

• Ringing of bells before ears, Humming in ears, in evening

Nose

• Sulphuricum Acidum is useful in complaint of Epistaxis in evening.
• It is useful in Dry coryza, with loss of smell and taste.
• Coryza: thin, lemon-colored discharge.

Teeth

• Sulphuricum Acidum is useful in complaint of Toothache, more violent in evening, in bed, worse by cold air, better by warmth, generally with tearing digging, or gnawing.
• Swelling and easy bleeding of gums, Ulceration of gums is relieved by it.

Mouth

• Aphthae in mouth, in children is well relieved by Sulphuricum Acidum.
• Sensation of dryness in mouth.
• Tongue, horribly swollen, swallowing impossible, covered with wrinkled white skin, tip and edges red, denuded at tip and intensely red. Breath very offensive.

Throat

• Sulphuricum Acidum is useful in complaint of sore throat during deglutition, with lancinating pain, especially in evening (swollen as if a lump were in it, worse on left side).
• Swelling of uvula and roof of palate      

Appetite

• Desire for fresh fruits (plums), brandy.
• Loss of appetite and great debility.
• Sulphuricum Acidum is indicated in Chronic alcoholism, vomiting in morning, acidity of stomach, burning in oesophagus and stomach, sour, acrid or foul eructations.
• Cold perspiration, immediately after hot food.

Stomach

• Nausea in the stomach, with shivering, Vomiting, first of water, then of food is relieved by it.
• Sensation of coldness or burning in stomach is relieved by Sulphuricum Acid. 
• It relieves colic in abdomen, which is like labor pains, extending into hips and loins.
• Movements, gripings, and pinchings in abdomen, sometimes at night is relieved by it.

Stool and Anus

• It is indicated in loose evacuations, of consistence of pap (yellowish-white, partly solid, partly liquid), greenish, and watery diarrhoea with great debility.
• Sulphuricum Acidum is useful in hemorrhoidal excrescences in anus, with shootings, burning sensation, itching and oozing.
• Hemorrhoids feel damp and are painful to touch, itch violently, pain at stool as if rectum were torn to pieces, stools like sheep's dung, piles in hard drinkers.

Urinary Organs

• It is indicated in diminished secretion of urine, with burning sensation when urinating.
• There is slimy sediment in the urine, Sediment like blood in the urine, which is covered with a fine pellicle.
• Pain in the bladder, when the want to urinate is not immediately satisfied indicates Sulphuricum Acidum.

Male Sexual Organs

• Emission of semen, without voluptuous sensation is checked by Sulphuricum Acidum.
• It relieves itching pain in upper margin of glans.
• It is also useful in Orchitis (right)

Female Sexual Organs

• It is indicated for premature and too profuse menses.
• During menses, there is lancinations in abdomen and vagina.
• Acrid and burning, or milk like leucorrhoea is well relieved by it.
• Sulphuricum Acidum is useful in prolapse of vagina, parts look greenish and smell badly.
• Climacteric age with constant hot flushes, and a feeling of tremor all over body, with great debility, and as if everything must be done in a hurry, spitting of blood, constipation, symptoms are worse by smelling (not drinking) coffee.
• It s useful in nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, never vomited food, but could not eat because of increased distress in stomach and vomiting of mucus.

Respiratory Organs

• It relieves hoarseness, with dryness, and roughness in throat and larynx.
• Cough worse from walking, riding, cold water, and when smelling coffee.
• Sulphuricum Acidum is useful in moist cough, with slimy expectoration, Cough, with hemoptysis.
• Risings and regurgitation of food after coughing indicates this remedy.
• It is useful in relieving Great weakness in the chest, with difficult speech.   

Neck and Back

• Left neck painful on pressure, Large suppurating swelling left side of neck is relieved.
• Sulphuricum Acidum relieves Pain in small of back, Stiffness of back several mornings, on rising.
• Painful sensibility and swelling of axillary glands is well checked.

Limbs

• Sulphuricum Acidum is useful in Convulsive movements of arms and legs.
• It relives Pains in joints felt during sleep, disappear on waking.
• Tearing in all limbs during menses, especially in evening is helped by this medicine.
• It is useful in Shootings in joint of shoulder, on lifting arm, Tensive pain in elbow-joint.
• Sulphuricum Acidum is also useful in Lancinations in joints of fingers, chilblains on fingers.
• It relieves Painful weakness of knees, with dull lancinations, shocks, and blows in those parts.
• Swelling of feet, Tearing and lancinations in corns and feet is also helped by Sulphuricum Acidum.

Generalities

• Tearing pains throughout body, also in faceis relieved by it.
• It is useful in Stitches in joints, Cramps in limbs, Pains, felt during sleep.
• The left side seems to be more particularly affected.
• Sensation of soreness as if bruised over the whole body indicates Sulphuricum Acidum.
• It is useful in weakness of the whole body, with sensation of trembling.

Skin

• It is useful in bad effects from mechanical injuries, as from bruises, falling, knocking, pressure of blunt instruments, and contusions (especially in old women).
• Gangrenous tendency after a bruise is helped by Sulphuricum Acidum.
• It is indicated in Red, itching spots on skin, or small, red, livid, and bluish spots, as from ecchymosis.
• Corns in feet, with tearings and shootings, Warts is also helped by it.

Side effects of SBL Acid Sulphuricum

There are no such side effects. But every medicine should be taken following the rules as given. 

Dosage and rules while taking SBL Acid Sulphuricum 

Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.

You can also medicate the globules and take 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.
