Rhinanthus angustifolius or greater yellow-rattle is a Lamiales plant species of the genus Rhinanthus. It is an annual wildflower native to temperate grasslands in much of Europe, and north and central Western Asia. The yellow flowers are mostly visited by bumblebees.
Nikolai Vasilievich Tsinger or Zinger (1866-1923) - Russian (Soviet) botanist, bryologist; Professor; dealt with issues of agriculture and forestry.
Specialist in the field of plant morphology and speciation in the plant kingdom, flora of mosses and higher plants in Central and South-Western Russia.
The most famous were the works of N.V. Zinger on speciation of specialized weeds that clog agricultural crops. For these works, Zinger was awarded (posthumously) the highest scientific award of that time - the prize named after V.I. Lenin (1928)
