This listing is for a brand new XTD Stage 5 XXTREME performance clutch kit.
Stage 5 is built for customers running high horsepower / high torque setups and demanding driving environments
(drag, track, hard street use). It is designed to provide a major increase in holding power compared to stock,
while maintaining durability under repeated heat cycles.
WHY STAGE 5?
Stage 5 is recommended when a Stage 2/3/4 street clutch is no longer enough.
If your setup includes turbo, supercharger, nitrous, or heavy engine modifications,
a stronger pressure plate and aggressive friction material help prevent slip at higher load.
The result is more consistent power transfer and better reliability when you drive hard.
4-PUCK COPPER CERAMIC DISC (SPRUNG HUB) – STRONG BITE / FAST ENGAGEMENT
• Copper ceramic friction provides strong bite and heat resistance for hard launches and aggressive driving.
• 4-puck design increases “initial bite” and helps the clutch lock up faster than full-face organic discs.
• Sprung hub helps reduce drivetrain shock compared to rigid hubs (still aggressive vs. street clutches).

XXTREME HEAVY-DUTY PRESSURE PLATE – 2800LBS CLAMPING FORCE (APPROX.)
The XTD XXTREME pressure plate is built using ductile iron and heat-treated components
for strength under load. Higher clamp force helps hold power without slipping, especially under boost or hard acceleration.
Stage 5 is engineered for high torque capacity and repeated heat cycles.
