You are purchasing a brand-new XTD Pro Stage 3 MIBA copper-ceramic clutch kit engineered for selected turbocharged Subaru WRX, Legacy GT, Outback XT, Forester XT, Baja Turbo and Saab 9-2X Aero applications. This complete performance package is built for drivers who demand quicker engagement, stronger holding power and dependable torque transfer for aggressive street driving, competition use and high-performance builds.

The XTD Pro Stage 3 system combines an XTD high-clamp, long-life pressure plate with a sprung-hub 6-puck MIBA copper-ceramic racing disc. MIBA copper-ceramic friction material is widely respected in demanding high-heat braking and motorsport applications because of its durability, strong bite and consistent friction characteristics under severe operating conditions.

The disc uses twelve high-coefficient copper-ceramic friction pads for fast, positive engagement and the extreme-duty friction required by modified turbocharged vehicles. Its heavy-duty sprung retainer assembly features six dual springs and six severe-duty retainer rivets to help absorb drivetrain shock while maintaining excellent strength and reliability.

This complete kit includes an XTD high-clamp pressure plate, XTD 6-puck MIBA copper-ceramic sprung-hub racing disc, NTN throwout bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool, XTD installation guide and XTD logo window decal. Every component is selected as a matched system to deliver dependable fit, confident engagement and consistent performance.

The XTD pressure plate is manufactured from heat-treated ductile iron, which provides greater strength and resistance to heat-related distortion than a conventional stock cast-iron pressure plate. It delivers approximately 25% more clamping pressure than a stock-style unit to improve torque transfer and help reduce clutch slip under load.

This Pro Stage 3 clutch is rated at approximately 388 ft-lbs of torque and up to approximately 395 horsepower. Actual holding capacity may vary according to engine output, vehicle condition, tire grip, driving style, installation quality, flywheel condition and proper break-in procedure.

The 6-puck copper-ceramic design engages more aggressively than a full-face organic or Kevlar clutch disc. Some engagement chatter, firmer pedal feel or faster take-up may occur during low-speed starts and is considered normal for this type of performance clutch.

For maximum performance and service life, complete a proper 500-mile break-in period using normal stop-and-go driving and smooth engagement. Avoid racing, hard launches, towing, dyno pulls, excessive slipping and full-throttle acceleration until the friction surfaces are fully seated.

The 6-puck MIBA copper-ceramic disc concentrates friction force into twelve high-coefficient pads for positive engagement and dependable torque transfer.

The sprung-hub center helps absorb drivetrain shock, while the heavy-duty retainer assembly uses six dual springs and six severe-duty rivets for strength and reliability. The heat-treated ductile-iron pressure plate delivers increased clamping force and improved resistance to heat-related distortion.

Compared with a full-face organic or Kevlar disc, a 6-puck ceramic disc engages more aggressively and may produce some chatter during low-speed takeoff. This is a normal characteristic of performance puck-style clutches and should be considered before purchasing for a daily-driven vehicle.
