Forming on the gritty streets of Caracas, Venezuela, Cuarto Poder has become one of South America's leading indie hip hop acts. The group met during a freestyle session in a skate park at a time when hip hop was still very much a new genre in Venezuela.  They perform a style called "criollo rap" fusing street lyrics with folk verses and traditional rhythms. Cuarto Poder's U.S. debut album 'In Tha House' features the group's beach anthem "Arenita Playita" as well as "El Que Llevo, Llevo" with vocalist Julio Briceño of disco funk stars Los Amigos Invisibles.
