Shada:
Chris Parsons is happily engrossed in studying post-graduate physics
at Cambridge, when one day he finds an old book, sitting on a dusty
shelf in an ageing professor's library. Written in a language nobody
can read and made of a paper that can't be torn, this is no ordinary
book. And when it enters his life, everything changes for young
Chris Parsons.
Soon finding himself aboard an invisible space-ship, chased by
monsters made of molten rock; aboard an alien prison on a distant
planet and attacked by a horde of mind-control zombies. Chris also
meets a strange man with a very long scarf who claims he can travel
through time and space... in a police box.
It's going to be a busy day for Chris Parsons.
An abandoned Doctor Who classic is brought to life. Starring Tom
Baker and written by Douglas Adams, this is “Shada” for a modern
audience, with footage upscaled to high definition, and incomplete
footage now completed using high-quality animation. |

The Power of the Daleks:
The TARDIS brings the new Doctor, Polly and Ben to the Earth colony
planet Vulcan. The Doctor witnesses a murder and, investigating the
body, discovers a pass badge allowing him unrestricted access to the
colony.
The dead man was an Earth Examiner who had been secretly summoned by
Deputy Governor Quinn to investigate the activities of a group of
rebels - a problem regarded as insignificant by Governor Hensell.
A scientist, Lesterson, has meanwhile discovered a crashed space
capsule containing inert Daleks, which he is now in the process of
reactivating. The Doctor's warnings are ignored when the Daleks
claim to be the colonists' servants. |

Dreamland:
The second animated
series of Doctor Who, starring David Tennant, sees the Time Lord
sent to the infamous alien hot spot, Roswell, where he stumbles
across a mysterious alien artefact and meets a new companion called
Cassie Rice.

Dreamland, a new six-part animated adventure, premièred daily on BBC
Red Button and the Doctor Who website from
Saturday 21 November.
Written by Phil Ford (Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane
Adventures), Dreamland sees the iconic TARDIS touch down in the
desert in the USA. Stumbling across a mysterious alien artefact in a
local diner, the Doctor is led to Area 51, also known as Dreamland,
the US’ most secret base. He then finds himself on a momentous
mission to rescue Rivesh Mantilax from the threat of the ruthless
Viperox and the clutches of the American military.
Created in eye-catching high-definition 3-D animation, the series
sees the Doctor, played by David Tennant, hook up with two new
