The "Glossy" set is a parallel issue to the regular 1988, the first issue from Score. The difference can be recognized by the glossy fronts unlike the flat finish on the regular cards. It was the company's answer to the Topps "Tiffany" and Fleer "Glossy" sets. These cards were not available from packs.

The Score Glossy cards are much more challenging that most of the Fleer/Topps parallel issues.
