Description

1 of a number of ancient worked flints from the Ex REYNOLDS collection... who bought them from the Ex INNES collection...some are numbered with their numbers..I have not added numbers etc..some would call them all ARROW HEADS or KNIFE blades, POINTS etc....but there could be any number of uses for them and I am sure you American collectors have all sorts of names for them ... Most are Native American but there may be an odd one or two that are European..I am sure you collectors will know what you are looking at....Some of them are Flint and others are Chalcedony and there may be some other sorts of stone too... again please ENLARGE the photographs to determine what you are looking at....there is NO provenance for any of them other than they are from the Ex INNES collection initially.

 

This one is a darkish greay on one side and a light grey with an orangy tinge colour ...numbered 1053 in black .....I like the shape of this one...its a sort of TRIANGULAR shape.. ..nice secondry working all over on all the edges.. one side may have been re-worked as its slightly concave .. and a differant shape to the other side.. its an absolute BELTA of a flint...  ..it is approx 3 and 3/4 inch long x 2 inch bottom .

Conversion ... approx... 2.5cm = 25mm = 1 inch

  • I accept returns within 14 days on all items sent back to me in the condition you received it in.  If you are in any way unhappy with your item please ebay message me to arrange a return.  Item(s) to be returned in its original packaging please.  Please note if you or a third party tamper with, changes or repairs an item, this would automatically NULL AND VOID my full return policy, i.e. returns will not be accepted. 

 

  • If you return the item because you've changed your mind, and  there is no error in the description, return postage will not be refunded.  

 

  • UK BUYERS I accept CHEQUES in UK Sterling, PAYPAL or Bacs BANK TRANSFER. Cheque payments will incurr a DELAY in despatch, of 6 working days to clear. 

 

  • INTERNATIONAL BUYERS I will accept Paypal payments or bank wire transfer (IBAN) from anywhere in the world.
