Bed bolts hold the frame of many styles of beds together by allowing you to fasten the bed rails to the posts in the end pieces of the bed. There are differences in bed bolts for metal frames compared to wood frame bed bolts. Some modern beds still use these bolts but they are designed to restore an older bed.
