This listing is for a beautiful vintage natural red Pyrope Garnet necklace.

 Gorgeous hand woven bead necklace measuring 28" long in solid strand with no closure and the necklace measures 3/8" in diameter. The stones are natural, untreated beads and have rich ruby coloration. Total weight is 110 grams.

The necklace is in excellent Estate condition.

Pyrope Garnets are found in many countries including Africa, Bohemia (now the Czech Republic), China, Tansania and several others. Often used in their natural state with smaller stones being used in items such as this woven necklace. This lovely necklace is smooth to the touch and has a nice weight and is one that you will definitely enjoy wearing.
