hickory is the most resiliant wood that grows on the East Coast
this is the stick I choose when I go hiking
has bark handle
stick shown is a SAPLING - the strongest part of a tree is the trunk--and the strength of hickory is legendary
sizes vary from 40 to 48 inches ~ you will not get the stick shown--but one very similar.
[some bark handles may have a slight curve]
straightness ranges from 97% to 99% ~ weights range around 20 oz.
diameter of bark handle can range from 1.25" to 1.75"
this is my economy model because it is not sanded nor clear-coated
all sticks are cured 10-20 years--and quantity is limited [as-is my life-span!]
