Here is a fossil Water strider insect from the Solnhofen formation of Germany. It's a study grade specimen without much detail but you can see the body and six legs. 

Name: Propygolampis bronni

Locality: Solnhofen, Germany

Size: Insect has a legspan of up to 9.5 cm on matrix measuring 18 x 17 cm

Age: Jurassic
