Description

A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly and bitter old businessman living in Victorian London. On a freezing Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his deceased partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him that his greed will lead to eternal torment. Over the course of the night, three spirits - the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come - take Scrooge on a journey through his own life and the lives of those around him, including his underpaid clerk Bob Cratchit. Through these visions, Scrooge is forced to confront the emotional cost of his selfishness and is offered a final chance to change his ways before it is too late.

Item Descriptions

We use the following standard terms to describe the general condition of the book; any major faults (inscriptions, tears, missing pages marks etc) are noted separately.

FINE (F) - Our top rating. The item is in excellent as new condition. A FINE slipcase or dust wrapper is as new; any faults such as marks or bumps will be mentioned but will be very minor - in these cases we use the term NEAR FINE.
