This unique, handwoven Moroccan Azilal wool rug is a true original, impossible to duplicate. The weaver of this piece created a highly vertical, commanding composition that plays with scale and negative space.

The eye is immediately drawn to the central column: a series of large, elongated diamond medallions that transition in color. The top medallion is a striking purple and blue with a cream center, which flows down into a warm orange and yellow section, before shifting into a deep maroon block. The lower section finishes with vibrant orange and yellow geometric shapes that mirror the energy of the top.

Surrounding this central spine is a vibrant red field, subtly broken by thin, horizontal lines of white and yellow, creating a sense of movement. The rug is framed by a thick, multi-colored striped border in cream, blue, black, and orange, which gives the piece a strong, structured edge.
