An antique aqua colored “turtle” “igloo” ink bottle, hand blown glass, embossed J & IEM, for John and Isaac Moore of Warren, MA. Made about 1865. It would have had a cork stopper. It has a rough, sheared lip. There are bubbles in the glass. Near the M on the bottle, there is a line in the glass—see photos— I’m don’t think it’s a crack, I think the bottle was made like that—but it’s possibly a crack— check the pictures. The outside of the bottle is smooth.
