This is a vintage pair of skinny 15 inch aluminum spindle mount rims with smooth tires. Based on the smooth tires, I believe these came off of a vintage sand rail. That said, these skinny spindle mount rims were also used on vintage dragsters, etc. The rims appear to be about 4 inches wide of close to it. It is tough to tell with the tires installed. The tires are made by Sand Tires Unlimited in Costa Mesa, Calif. The model of the tires is "The Smoothee" as shown. The size of the tires is 4.50-15. These are very cool vintage parts.
These rims are in nice unrestored condition as shown. There are no major dents, gouges, etc. There are scatter nicks and scatches as expected from being moved around over the years. The tires are likely ancient based on the fact that California is abbreviated "Calif." The tires hold air and look to have seen little use. That said, the tires have age cracking and should be considered static displays. These are very cool vintage wheels and tires.
