The Amazing Spider-Man #301 (Marvel Comics, June 1988). NM+ Direct Edition. 'The Sable Gauntlet!' written by David Michelinie with art by Todd McFarlane; cover by Todd McFarlane. The famous companion cover to ASM #300 — the same McFarlane artwork, with Spider-Man back in the red-and-blue suit. Silver Sable's Wild Pack is hired to test the Pruett Building's security, but security chief Frank Cruz has rigged the test as a deathtrap: Cruz is really Franz Kraus, a neo-Nazi avenging a relative the Wild Pack captured years ago. Spider-Man uncovers the plot and saves Sable mid-gauntlet. Mary Jane Watson-Parker also appears. Graded NM+. Raw, ungraded copy — please review the photos (front, back, and interior shown) and ask any questions before buying. Ships bagged and boarded in a rigid comic mailer.
