The bust on the garment measures 48" (24" pit to pit).

Not suitable for over a 48" bust as this doesn't stretch.

Best for a 46" bust, or under as this would leave a little room for comfort.

If you are close to, or on, a 48" bust this may feel tight and restrict movement.

For working environments, it may be preferable to be under 48" for movement room, to perform your tasks in comfort.

How much under depends on your own personal preferences and tolerances.
