A very rare TAMA Artstar series

South American Cordia wood snare drum [AS656] 14×6.5

The shell is made primarily of long-term naturally dried birch wood, with Cordia wood laminated on both the inner and outer sides, achieving a thin shell body with a shell thickness of approximately 6 millimeters. This is a highly sought-after item that is rarely available.

Condition

There are some scratches due to age, but there is no damage that affects usability, and it is still a fully functional snare drum.

All parts have been inspected and are in good working order.

It produces a great sound!!

The sound has been enhanced to maximize shell vibration, resulting in Cordia's signature tight, powerful tone with a high-response response reminiscent of a metal shell. The interior features a slightly thicker lacquer finish, while the exterior showcases the natural wood grain with a buffed finish. This is a top-of-the-line model crafted by artists for artists.
