This salt cellar stands 2 1/4" tall and measures 4 3/16" in diameter. Made of glossy white glass, it has a round bowl with a scalloped rim and an octagonal pedestal base. I believe that this is #4452 in the book, "5,000 Open Salts," where it is described as scarce. According the book, this is either U.S. Glass from the 1920s, or a reproduction from the 1950s. In either case, it's vintage and this example is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or flakes.
