A “Made in Japan” model inspired by sushi, one of Japan’s culinary traditions beloved around the world. Based on three iconic G-SHOCK models, this collection features colors and designs inspired by salmon, tuna, and salmon roe. The GA-2100SSH uses a vivid orange to represent the color of fresh salmon. The texture of fatty salmon flesh is depicted on the dial, and the hour and minute hands are designed to resemble a kitchen knife. The small hand is modeled after a nigiri sushi. Additionally, as a design element common to all three models, a teacup motif is placed on the case back to symbolize the end of a meal. Furthermore, each model comes in exclusive packaging inspired by the folding boxes used for gift-wrapped souvenirs. The wasabi motif that appears when the watch is removed is arranged to match each sushi topping—salmon (less wasabi), tuna (more wasabi), and salmon roe (no wasabi)—creating a design that conveys the joy of enjoying sushi. These concept models are infused with playful touches throughout, offering a pop take on Japanese culture.
