New aftermarket piezoelectric engine knock / detonation sensor cross-referenced to Subaru OE 22060AA061 (22060-AA061).
The sensor mounts to the engine and supplies the vibration signal used by the engine control unit to detect combustion knock and adjust ignition timing.
For applications using Subaru reference 22060AA061 (22060-AA061). Check the complete original reference, electrical connector, cable arrangement and mounting shape before ordering. UK vehicle fitment must be confirmed against the engine code and VIN; model name or model year alone is insufficient.
Do not assume interchangeability with similarly shaped numbers such as 22060AA070. This is an unbranded aftermarket replacement and is not manufactured or endorsed by Subaru.
Fit to a clean mounting surface and follow the vehicle manufacturer's installation and tightening procedure. Diagnose the fault before replacement.
