Wonderful piece of early postwar American fly-fishing history featuring period fishing tackle, fly-tying materials, tools, supplies and sporting equipment.

The catalog contains numerous illustrations, descriptions and original 1946 prices for fly-tying vises and tools, fishing lines, leaders, tackle, fly-tying materials and other equipment. The foreword is signed in print by George E. Fletcher and discusses his Rangeley, Maine fly shop and the challenges of obtaining fishing materials immediately following World War II.

The front cover features a large illustrated fish and is marked 1946, with an old handwritten date of 2-19-46 at the top.
