This is an original painting of a waterfall and mountain landscape.  It is oil on canvas and signed by the artist.  I believe this is a vintage, Mid-Century oil painting from Japan but I may be wrong.  A hut is next to the river, similar to other Japanese artwork. I think this is part of a Four Seasons depiction.  It is a vibrant blue and green landscape with a waterfall cascading at the base of a towering mountain.  It is framed in a solid wood frame with a gold detail. The artwork measures 16" x 12.5".  With the frame, it measures 13.75" wide x 17.25" tall x 1" deep.  It weighs 1 lb 3 oz.  It is in good condition.  There is age to the canvas and the frame.  I have not cleaned the artwork and it has a few scuffs but no damage that I can see.  The frame has slight signs of wear.  The painting is absolutely stunning.  Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this wonderful waterfall landscape.
