Vintage TOP ICICLE Ice Axe
Japan Alpine Wooden Shaft Mountaineering Tool
Approx. 80 cm / 31.5 in
This is a vintage wooden-shaft ice axe marked “Top Icicle.”
The lower stamp on the head is very faint and worn, so it is difficult to read clearly.
Because of this, the maker details are not stated with certainty, but the visible “Top Icicle” marking gives it a strong vintage Japanese alpine character.
Total length: approx. 80 cm / 31.5 in
The long wooden shaft and classic head shape give this ice axe a beautiful traditional mountaineering presence.
The metal parts show rust, scratches, darkening, patina, and signs of age.
The wooden shaft also shows wear, marks, and aging from long-term storage and use.
Please check all photos carefully for the condition.
For collection, display, or historical mountaineering gear appreciation only.
Not recommended for actual climbing or safety use.
