For sale is a beautiful vintage Japanese theater wall mask depicting the face of a smiling and laughing man. The mask is masterfully carved from a single piece of high-quality wood, displaying a wonderfully cheerful, joyful expression that purifies the atmosphere.  The stunning natural wood grain patterns and its rich, warm patina showcase the incredible skill of the craftsman.  It includes a hanging cord on the back, making it perfect for any room, office, or meditation space as a unique piece of Asian art.
The 580 grams hand carved wooden mask is approx. 16.5cm (6 1/2") wide by 21.5cm (8 7/16") long.  It is in good overall vintage condition.  There are some small nicks and perhaps a minor mark(s), scuff(s), wear, dust, etc.  No major cracks or deep structural damage.  Please examine all of the photographs carefully to determine the overall condition and the quality of the woodwork, design, size, etc.
