Vintage Citadel Leman Russ – Space Wolf Commander – Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader Era

A genuine vintage Citadel / Games Workshop Leman Russ (Space Wolf Commander) metal miniature from the Rogue Trader era of Warhammer 40,000.

This is the original late-1980s Leman Russ miniature rather than one of the considerably later Horus Heresy versions.

The metal base tab is clearly marked “LEMAN RUSS”.

Originally released as the Space Wolf Marine Commander and subsequently catalogued as Leman Russ (Space Wolf Commander), this classic miniature dates from the early days of Warhammer 40,000.

CONDITION:

Pre-owned vintage metal miniature in painted condition.

The miniature shows age-related paint wear, rubbing, marks and chips consistent with its age and previous use.

The figure itself is present with its distinctive chainsword.

Please note that this is NOT the complete original Leman Russ set.

The original release included additional separate components comprising a wolf-skin cloak/backpack, banner pole and the wolves Geri and Freki. These additional pieces are NOT included with this sale.

The metal mounting tab remains present and is marked “LEMAN RUSS”.

No attempt has been made to strip, repaint or restore the miniature.

INCLUDED:

• 1 x Vintage Citadel Leman Russ / Space Wolf Commander metal miniature

No base is included.

No wolf-skin cloak/backpack, banner pole, Geri or Freki miniatures are included.

Only the miniature shown in the photographs is included.

A great original Rogue Trader-era piece for a vintage Warhammer 40K, Space Wolves, Oldhammer or Citadel collection, and also an excellent candidate for restoration or repainting.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and show the exact miniature you will receive.

The miniature will be carefully packaged for postage.
