Rare early advertising bottle opener for Parkwood Club Whiskey, distributed by R. A. Splaine & Co., Haverhill, Massachusetts.

The opener is boldly stamped:

“FOR YOUR HEALTH
DRINK PARKWOOD
CLUB WHISKEY
R. A. SPLAINE & CO.
HAVERHILL, MASS.”

A terrific piece of early American whiskey and saloon advertising, with particularly appealing period wording — “For Your Health / Drink Parkwood Club Whiskey.”

R. A. Splaine & Co. was a Haverhill, Massachusetts liquor concern associated with Parkwood Club Whiskey around the turn of the 20th century. Advertising pieces from this company appear to be quite scarce.
