A quality vintage silver or nickel plate on brass Champagne wine cooler with engraved armorial/coat of arms decoration to each side. The wine cooler has a chamber for storing ice which retains its original lid and a chamber for a single bottle of wine or champagne. The cooler has twin shaped handles and a stepped base. The cooler measures 21cm by 18cm to the base by 18cm high excluding its lid for the ice chamber. The armorial/coat of arms features a central rampant lion on a shield surrounded by foliage with a swan atop a basket or nest above. This is replicated to the other side (both pictured). Surface marks and scuffs with a few knocks and dents in places but nothing serious. Tarnish and discolouration to the exterior and interior through signs of use but no splits or cracks. Lid is original. A quality vintage piece that would grace any dining table.
