Hard-to-find complete Huang Cathedral Concert twin set with original case and instructional literature.
Includes:
• Huang Cathedral Concert harmonica – Key of C • Huang Cathedral Concert harmonica – Key of C# • Original fitted black carrying case with red interior • Original Huang Musette / Cathedral Concert instruction sheet
The Cathedral Concert is a solo-tuned, double-reed diatonic octave harmonica designed to produce an octave-organ sound. The original instructions explain that pairing the C and C# harmonicas allows them to be played together in a chromatic style. Each Cathedral Concert spans three octaves and uses 24 notes / 48 reeds according to the original literature included with the set. Both instruments are marked Huang and Made in China.
Please note: These have not been played or tested for sound, tuning, reeds, or other functionality. Because harmonicas are mouth-played instruments, they were not personally tested. They are sold as-is. Cosmetic condition is shown in the photographs.
A particularly nice set for a Huang harmonica collector, vintage musical-instrument collection, or player familiar with the C/C# twin-harmonica system.
