The Spectrum Retro Console (Retro Games)

The Spectrum Retro Console recreates the distinctive appearance and rubber keyboard of the iconic 1980s home computer. Its fully working keyboard, signature rainbow design and built-in game library provide an authentic way to rediscover the ZX Spectrum on a modern television.

Choose from 48 built-in games, including Manic Miner, The Hobbit, Head over Heels, Saboteur! Remastered, The Great Escape and The Way of the Exploding Fist. Compatible games and programs that you own can also be loaded from a USB flash drive.

Fully Working Replica Keyboard

The full-size rubber keyboard recreates the distinctive layout and appearance of the original ZX Spectrum while supporting games, programs and BASIC commands.

48 Built-in Games

The included library covers action, adventure, platform, shooting, puzzle, racing, sports and role-playing games from the ZX Spectrum era.

48K and 128K Compatibility

The Spectrum emulates both 48K and 128K ZX Spectrum models for compatibility with a wide selection of games and programs.

Classic Mode

Switch to Classic Mode for access to the full ZX Spectrum environment, including BASIC programming and virtual cassette functionality.

Load Compatible Games by USB

Load games and programs that you own from a compatible USB flash drive. Supported file formats include TAP, TZX, PZX, SZX, Z80 and SNA.

Save and Resume

Save your progress using four save-game slots per game and return to a previous position at any time.

40-Second Rewind

Rewind gameplay by up to 40 seconds and retry difficult sections without restarting the game.

Display Options

Choose between original 4:3 and pixel-perfect display modes, apply optional CRT filters and surround gameplay with one of 12 decorative frames.

ULAplus Colour Support

ULAplus colour mode provides support for extended colour palettes in compatible games and programs.

Four USB Ports

Connect compatible USB game controllers, keyboards and flash drives using the four USB-A ports.
