Presenting an exceptional early Erstwilder “Attempted Flamboyance” flamingo brooch, designed by Louisa Camille and released in 2016.
A wonderfully whimsical piece, this striking brooch depicts a pair of flamboyant flamingos in vibrant magenta resin, anchored by a dynamic formation of turquoise grasses decorated with playful coral-pink flamingos. The layered construction and exuberant colour palette are quintessentially Erstwilder.
The composition has a wonderful sense of movement, with the two flamingos elegantly intertwined above the lively turquoise grass. Small details, including the contrasting black and white faces, delicate coral-pink flamingos and pink wing detail, give the design its distinctive character.
