An original World War One related letter written by AEF soldier Charles Balch who was in the 309th Infantry 78th Division, which was known as the Lightning Division. It is dated France 1918. In one area he says the G- are going so fast we can't catch them with motor trucks. I think he is referring to the Germans.     I currently have other items listed that belonged to this person.

The letter has some wear in areas.
