The document related to Private Willis Cowell of Company F 1st United States Colored Cavalry being sentenced to hang for being convicted of the charge of murder. Document measures 8 x 5 inches in size. Scarce content! The item is in POOR condition exhibiting folds, wrinkles, tears, tiny paper losses, and soiling.
