Portland Mine Victor Colorado Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon~Cripple Creek Dist

Antique sterling silver souvenir spoon featuring the Portland gold mine of Victor, Colorado in the Cripple Creek mining district. The bowl of the spoon has a fantastic HAND ENGRAVED image of the mine, unlike the much more commonly seen stamped image. The spoon measures just over 5 inches long and weighs just over 16 grams. The back features the word Sterling and a large S which is the hallmark for the Shepard Mfg co. The spoon back also has a fancy engraved monogram which looks like A.E.W. The spoon likely dates around the late 1800s to the turn of the Century. It is in very good vintage condition. Please view photos closely for details and condition.
