MAPEI Primer G – Multi-Surface Primer for Better Tile & Floor Adhesion - 1 KG

Are you tiling onto plasterboard, gypsum, or cement surfaces? Do you need to improve adhesion, reduce dust, and prevent moisture problems? Primer G is a versatile, low-VOC primer that prepares and seals porous surfaces, ensuring your tiles, flooring, or wallpaper stick securely and last longer.

Why Use Primer G?

Ideal For:

• Priming gypsum plaster, plasterboard, and anhydrite screeds before tiling

• Sealing cementitious surfaces before applying self-levelling compounds

• Preparing walls before wallpapering or painting

• Improving adhesion between layers of smoothing compounds

• Treating chipboard, cement fibre boards, and foamed concrete

How to Apply:

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean, dry, and dust-free. Sand smooth/glossy surfaces if needed.

2. Stir Primer G: Do not shake—stir gently before use.

3. Dilute if Required:

   • For cement surfaces: Dilute 1:1 with water.

   • For gypsum surfaces: Use undiluted.

   • For wallpaper: Dilute 1:3 with water.

4. Apply Evenly: Use a brush or roller to apply a thin, uniform coat.

5. Let Dry: Allow 30–60 minutes before applying adhesive, levelling compound, or tiles.

• Coverage: 0.08–0.15 kg/m² depending on surface porosity
