THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL TRADE TOKEN, USED AROUND 1909 AT A SALOON IN DOWNTOWN "ELKO" NEVADA....THIS MERCHANT ISSUED SEVERAL VARIETIES OF TRADE TOKENS BACK IN THE DAY....THIS IS THE TOUGHER TO FIND OCTAGONAL BRASS "GOOD FOR 1 CIGAR" VARIETY.

The historic town of Elko goes back to 1868 and was located on the Central Pacific Railroad route and became a center for supplies for nearby mines...and is located in eastern Nevada Elko County near the towns of Carlin, Spring Valley, Elburz and Jiggs Nevada

Trade token is brass metal, octagonal,  about 24mm in diameter, and it displays nicely…this is a beauty(please see pictures in gallery) HARD TO IMAGINE FINDING A NICER ONE
