Bakelite container (grease bottle) for MG 34 machine gun grease. A very rare Bakelite container for MG 34 machine gun grease. It should be in every MG 34 machine gun pouch. The container contained sulfur grease, necessary for excellent operation. A rare, well-preserved item in very good condition for its age. Found in a German machine gun trench at a Wehrmacht position where Red Army troops crossed the Dnieper River in the fall of 1943, Ukraine.
