Pre-owned vintage condition. All stones appear original and secure. There is age-related wear to the gold-tone finish and some verdigris (green oxidation) around the center stone, consistent with vintage costume jewelry. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.

Offered is a beautiful and uncommon signed Schreiner New York vintage costume jewelry piece dating to approximately the 1950s–1960s.

This statement piece measures approximately 2¾” x 2” and features intricate gold-tone openwork filigree set with multiple amber and smoky gray glass cabochons surrounding a spectacular large foil-backed amber art glass center stone with dramatic black crackled inclusions.

The reverse is clearly signed SCHREINER NEW YORK.

The rectangular openings at the top and bottom appear to be original to the design. While I have not been able to definitively identify its original use, it may have served as a Belt Front, scarf slide, dress ornament, or another specialty accessory. Buyers are encouraged to review the photographs and determine suitability for their collection.
