The TASCAM CA-XLR2d-AN is a two-channel XLR microphone adapter designed to add professional audio inputs to DSLR and mirrorless camera recording setups.
It features two balanced XLR/TRS combo inputs with TASCAM HDDA low-noise microphone preamps. Each channel supports microphone or line-level sources, while the XLR inputs can supply +48V phantom power for compatible condenser microphones.
An additional 3.5mm stereo input supports microphones requiring plug-in power. The analog 3.5mm output connects directly to the microphone input of a compatible camera and can also be switched for headphone monitoring.
Manual level controls, selectable attenuation, low-cut filters, limiters and a channel-link function provide flexible sound control during interviews, filmmaking, live events and location recording.
The Analog Interface Kit uses two AA batteries and attaches to a standard camera cold shoe. Please confirm that your camera has a compatible 3.5mm analog microphone input before purchase.
