Vintage 1946 hardback copy of Tally Ho: The Story of an Irish Hunter by Moyra Charlton.
This is the story of a horse called Tally Ho and it follows him from the days of his childhood through his working life of hunting, racing and hacking, to his return to freedom and the hills. Apparently, the story is told from the horse's perspective and was written by the author when she was only about 12 years old.
The book is illustrated throughout by Lionel Edwards and there is an introduction by Lord Lonsdale.
The book is in very good condition for its age with some tanning, foxing and wear to the cover. Please see photos.
