Rare vintage collection of 32 original photographs associated with Star Trek conventions and fan events during the 1970s.
The collection contains both color and black-and-white photographic prints and includes photographs associated with William Shatner / Captain James T. Kirk and the early Star Trek fan convention era.
An especially important provenance clue within the collection is imagery identifying the William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The William Penn Hotel was associated with the Pittsburgh Star Trektacular convention held December 12–14, 1975.
Period reporting for the Pittsburgh Star Trektacular listed William Shatner among the Star Trek personalities scheduled for the convention.
Some photographs also bear photographer/provenance markings associated with Ann C. Teipen. Teipen is documented as the Official Photographer for United Friends of William Shatner, an early authorized William Shatner fan organization founded in 1975.

The 32 photographs appear to contain different scenes, backgrounds and/or events. Therefore, this collection is being offered as a 1970s Star Trek convention photographic archive and we are NOT representing every photograph as having been taken at the same Pittsburgh convention.
Several photographs are still housed in vintage Fotomat photographic folders.
Condition varies considerably. Some photographs remain quite presentable, while others exhibit age-related deterioration including cracking/crazing of the photographic surface, discoloration, fading, creasing, edge/corner wear and other storage or handling wear.
All 32 photographs shown are included and are being sold together as one collection.
No individual photograph has been professionally authenticated or independently attributed unless a photographer/copyright marking is physically present on the photograph.
