There is more than one generation type of this haldex filter.

If your vehicle is near the start of the date ranges listed above, it may be fitted with the earlier generation 2/3 haldex.

Generation 2 & 3 haldex pumps have a black plastic cap with a flat end.
Generation 4 haldex pumps are silver and have a nipple shaped end.
